It definitely said it works with quickbooks, but when I received it and installed it, it ended up not being compatible with any of my printers. It took me months to return it and receive a refund. The customer service dept for this company is for the birds!! I would not recommend buying this item at all and especially not through this company!! It only scans one side, so it doesn't capture the back. Because of this, some banks have no way of knowing if the check was endorsed and return it back.I know that there's a version of the scanner with an endorser, but I didn't get that one since I figured I could endorse it with my stamp old school style. But other than that, the scanner is a awesome compared to the Panini, which is ten times as expensive. Edited to add: After our bank started returning some of our checks, I found out that my machine was a defective one. (It's supposed to capture both sides of the check.) After much going back and forth with the manufacturer and telling them that it was still under warranty, they finally fixed it. I really like the product at the price, but them trying to charge me over something that was their mistake really bothered me so I've brought my review down by a star. |
